Croatian robotics start-up – Gideon Brothers – is one of a select few partners behind the development of a humanoid robot that is being unveiled by Aeolus Robotics at CES 2018 (booth #25402), in Las Vegas.
The robot, called „Rosie“, is a first-generation household robot that can do things like bring food, pick up clutter around the house and locate lost items. Rosie is intended to help busy parents and independent senior citizens throughout the world. Aeolus Robotics’ CTO, Dan Oblinger, is considered a leading expert in Artificial Intelligence (AI), and was one of the key leaders behind IBM’s Watson development team.
Gideon Brothers’ engineers were involved in creating software for the robot’s arm, simulation tools for its performance, visualization tools for its mobility, and integration and test systems for its performance.
